The activity must be at least one hour in length; The activity must include specified learning objectives; The instructor must be a psychologist or other professional who has recognized expertise in the specific subject area of the activity; 2. Pre-Approved Continuing Professional Education Activities. Recognized Sponsors and Providers – The board may pre-approve without need of request continuing professional education activities offered by sponsors and providers whose past offerings, in the judgment of the board, have consistently conformed to the approval criteria set forth in Section 3(1) of this chapter. The board shall publish a current list of pre-approved sponsors and providers at the beginning of each license biennium and may update the list during the course of the biennium as necessary. In the case of pre-approved multidisciplinary sponsors and providers, continuing professional education credit may only be claimed for activities directly related to the practice of psychology. The board may monitor pre-approved activities for compliance with the approval criteria set forth in Section 3(1) of this chapter.”
